About the area
Full legs: what the area covers and who it's for
Full legs means the whole surface of the legs from thighs to ankles: the front and back of the thighs, the knees and the shins. It's the largest area, so the session takes longer than others - but the result is the most visible, with the whole leg smooth rather than just patches.
Legs usually come to mind before summer: dresses, shorts, skirts, the beach. But even in winter, smooth legs mean tights without snags and skin without stubble. Legs need shaving often, and on the shins a razor easily leaves irritation, cuts and ingrown hairs.
Shaving keeps you smooth for a day or two; waxing and epilators are painful over such an area. Laser works on the hair root: over time hair grows back less, finer and lighter, and your legs stay smooth for a long time - without the daily razor.

How many
How many laser hair removal sessions do you need?
For the legs you usually need 6 to 10 sessions. That's a guide: no one can name the exact number in advance, it depends on your hair type, hormones and the growth phase.
So we build the plan for legs on how your skin responds rather than on a number from the price list: six sessions in places, ten in others.

The session
How the session works
The first step is a free consultation. We check your skin, ask about your health and any contraindications, and do a test flash to set a power level that's comfortable for you.
The session itself uses a hybrid laser (alexandrite, diode and neodymium) with contact cooling, which takes the edge off most of the sensation even in delicate areas. The time depends on the area: small zones take around 15 minutes, large ones up to an hour. Your first visit takes a little longer, as it includes the consultation and test flash.
Preparation
How to prepare for your session
Before your session, shave your legs - not wax or pluck, so the hair root stays in place. Come without a fresh tan, and avoid self-tanner for a few days before your visit.
Details are in the preparation article. It matters most in summer: legs are bare, and a tan gets in the laser's way.

Aftercare
What to do after the session
Right after a session the skin can be a little red and warm - that's normal and settles within a few hours. For the first 1-2 days, take it easy on your legs: no sauna, pool, hot baths or intense workouts.
For 1-2 weeks, skip tanning and sunbeds, and use SPF on exposed skin - for legs in summer that's especially important. After a few days the treated hairs start to shed on their own - you can gently remove them in the shower, without plucking.
The next session is about 4-5 weeks later, and the gaps grow from there. By the end of the course legs need attention a couple of times a year.

Your schedule
When to book your next session
Legs are a large area and different parts respond differently. We look at the overall picture of growth and book by that, not by the calendar.
On legs the gap starts at 4-5 weeks and stretches to two or three months by the end of the course: little hair is left, and there is nothing to rush.

Leg laser hair removal - questions
Does it hurt?+
The skin on the legs is firm, so it's easy to handle - most people feel just a mild warmth. The laser's contact cooling keeps the session comfortable even over a large area.
How long does the session take?+
Usually 6 to 10, but legs are a large area and different parts can finish at different times.
How many sessions?+
Usually 6-10, depending on your hair and skin. We'll tell you exactly at the consultation.
What about results?+
After a course legs stay smooth for a long time, but a top-up session is usually needed every year or so. Laser does not do "forever".
