Laser Hair Removal for the Face
Upper lip, chin, cheeks - without tweezers, wax or the irritation that follows.
We'll confirm the exact price and number of sessions at your free consultation.

About the area
The face: what the area covers and who it suits
On the face we work area by area: upper lip, chin, cheeks, sideburns and the hairline. Each area is priced separately, so you can treat only what bothers you instead of the whole face.
Facial hair is fine but visible: dark fuzz above the lip or a few coarse hairs on the chin show up in daylight and stay noticeable even under careful make-up. Tweezing never ends, and the thin skin of the face answers tweezers and wax with redness, irritation and ingrown hairs.
The laser works on the root of the hair: over time hair grows back thinner, lighter and sparser, and the skin stops taking daily damage from tweezers. One honest point up front: the laser does not work on very light, red or grey hair. At the consultation we look at your hair and tell you straight whether it is worth doing.

How many
How many laser hair removal sessions do you need?
For the face, expect 6 to 10 sessions. The range is wider here than on the body: the hair is finer, and facial hair growth in women is often driven by hormones, which affects the result more than in any other area.
That is why the face more often needs occasional top-up visits after the course. Nobody can name the exact number in advance - we track your hair growth cycle and set the intervals so you get the most out of the fewest sessions.

The session
How the session works
The first step is a free consultation. We check your skin, ask about your health and any contraindications, and do a test flash to set a power level that's comfortable for you.
The session itself uses a hybrid laser (diode + alexandrite) with contact cooling, which takes the edge off most of the sensation even in delicate areas. The time depends on the area: small zones take around 15 minutes, large ones up to an hour. Your first visit takes a little longer, as it includes the consultation and test flash.
Preparation
How to prepare for your session
Stop tweezing and waxing 3 to 4 weeks before the session: the root has to stay in place, otherwise the laser has nothing to act on. Shaving and trimming are fine, they leave the root alone.
On the day, come without make-up, foundation or skincare on the area we are treating. Avoid sun and tanning beds for two weeks beforehand.
This is the short version. The full preparation guide is in a separate article, button below.

Aftercare
What to do after the session
Right after the session the skin may look red and feel warm - more visible on the face than on the body, but it settles within a few hours. Skip make-up on the treated area for a day.
Put scrubs, acids and harsh skincare aside for 1 to 2 weeks, and skip the sauna and pool for the first few days. SPF on the face is not optional: your face is always exposed, and skin is more sun-sensitive after the laser.
After a few days the treated hairs start to fall out on their own - do not pull them, let them go.

Your schedule
When to book the next session
After the session and throughout the course we stay in touch and track when your hair is actively growing, so the next session lands at the right moment.
The next session is usually 5 weeks or more later. Facial hair grows back faster than body hair, so the interval here is sometimes shorter: we will tell you the timing based on your own growth.

Common questions about the face
Does it hurt?+
Facial skin is thin and sensitive, but the areas are small and a session takes minutes. The laser's contact cooling takes most of the discomfort away: usually it is brief warmth and a light sting.
How many sessions will I need?+
Around 6 to 10. The range is wider on the face because of the hormonal factor - we will be more precise at the consultation, once we have seen your hair.
What if my hair is light?+
The laser does not work on very light, red or grey hair. That is an honest answer, not an excuse: come for a consultation and we will tell you straight away whether it is worth it.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?+
Give the treated area a day without make-up, then carry on as usual.
