What the area covers and why men remove chest hair
The area is the whole chest: from the collarbones to the lower edge of the pecs, including the strip between them. The stomach and underarms are separate areas, easy to do in the same visit.
At the gym and on the beach you want your muscle definition to show, and thick hair hides it. A shave lasts a couple of days, then the stubble prickles under your T-shirt, and the razor often leaves irritation and ingrown hairs on the chest.
Hair on a man's chest is usually dark and dense. For the laser that is a good combination: it picks up dark hair well.

How many
How many sessions you need for the chest
As a guide, 6 to 10 sessions. Where your course falls in that range depends on how dense your hair is.
After the course, maintenance visits 1-2 times a year are usually enough. We will give you the range for your area at the free consultation.
The session
How the session works
The first step is a free consultation. We check your skin, ask about your health and any contraindications, and do a test flash to set a power level that's comfortable for you.
The session itself uses a hybrid laser (alexandrite, diode and neodymium) with contact cooling, which takes the edge off most of the sensation even in delicate areas. The time depends on the area: small zones take around 15 minutes, large ones up to an hour. Your first visit takes a little longer, as it includes the consultation and test flash.
Preparation
How to prepare
Shave your chest the day before, like the back and stomach.
Stop waxing, sugaring and epilators 3-4 weeks before: the laser needs the hair root. No strong sun or tanning beds for two weeks before the visit, and no cream on the skin on the day of the treatment.
Aftercare
What to do after the treatment
For a few hours the skin may be warm and red. That is normal.
For the first 1-2 days skip the gym, sauna, pool and hot baths: sweat and a tight tank top irritate treated skin. Protect your chest from the sun and tanning beds for two weeks. The hairs start coming out after 5-10 days, and the whole process takes 1-3 weeks. No need to pull them out.

The first three sessions 4-5 weeks apart, after that the interval grows as hair growth slows down. If you are also doing the stomach, we treat both areas together in one visit.

Does it hurt on the chest?+
It is bearable. The handpiece cools the skin with every flash, and we set the power to your skin and hair.
Can I do my chest and stomach at once?+
Yes, in one visit. Together they make the "Chest + stomach" area: 3 200 Kč instead of 3 400 Kč separately. All prices are in the men's price list.
I have a tattoo on my chest. Is that a problem?+
No. We cover the tattoo with a pad that blocks the beam and work around it with a 1-1.5 cm margin. More in the article laser hair removal with tattoos.
Can I shave my chest between sessions?+
Yes, shaving does not get in the way of the course. Only waxing, sugaring and epilators are off limits: they pull the hair out by the root, and the laser has nothing to work on.
